VoIP (Voice-over-IP) is a technology that allows telephone calls to
be made over computer networks like the Internet. VoIP calls can be
made on the Internet using a VoIP service provider and standard computer
audio systems. No hardware is required to use VOIP with ContactTalk.
VoIP offers a substantial cost savings over traditional long distance
telephone calls. To utilize the tone detection feature of ContactTalk,
you will want to use a VOIP provider rather than Skype.
