What is ContactTalk?

ContactTalk is a full featured Contact Manager and Customer Relationships Manager (CRM) with the powerful and unique ability to interact with your contacts. How you interact with contacts depends entirely on how you use ContactTalk. It can be used as a basic contact management system up to an automated campaign manager including an email auto responder, incoming call handler, and voice broadcaster which can personalize, group, sort based on any criteria defined by you.

 

The ContactTalk, makes it an amazingly user friendly, yet extremely sophisticated piece of software.

 

 

What requirements do I need to use ContactTalk?

OS Windows 2000,XP or Vista
Hardware: Any modern computer purchased within the last 4 years. For heavy users it's best to use a dual core with 3ghz+ and 2 gig of RAM. Voice broadcasting and 10,000+ contacts is considered heavy use.
Voice Skype or SIP. No phone line is required.
EMail Email account that support POP3 or IMAP4. ContactTalk sends Email using SMTP. These are standard requirements.

What are ContactTalk's Features and Benefits?

Voice:
ContactTalk can call someone and address them by name. Actually any information about the contact can be used. This is done through TTS (Text To Speech). TTS is very effective when used with a professional voice. You can choose from American, Australian and British voices. You can even choose the gender. You can also mix TTS with your own recordings. Here is an example message.

 

Hello <FirstName>, this is Joe. Please stand by for an important message.

When the person answers the phone they will hear the TTS intro using their first name. They will then hear your recording (myrecording.wav).

 

If you have a need to send voice messages via Email ContactTalk can create messages in mp3 format and attach them to Emails. The voice message is the same one they would have received if ContactTalk had called them.

 

Email:
ContactTalk sends Emails in both text and HTML format. The content of the Emails can be personalized to the person your sending to. Any information about the contact can be used by using simple tags like <FirstName>. ContactTalk is capable of sending hundreds of Emails per hour.

 

Multi-Stage Interactive Campaign Manager:
Campaigns allow you to Email or call contacts based on the number of days since the contact entered the campaign. You can define multiple stages within each campaign and each contact can be a member of multiple campaigns. Contacts can be entered into campaigns manually, or upon import allowing you to walk away and let ContactTalk do your work for you.

 

Visual Form Designer:

You can customize and create your own forms with ease using the Visual Form Designer. You can create multiple forms and those forms can then be associated with contacts and/or groups of contacts within the database so that when you select a certain contact or group, the applicable form automatically loads showing you only the information you wish to see regarding that contact(s). The Form Designer supports all basic data types plus additional controls for Currency, Image, and Blob.

 

Scheduler:
ContactTalk is a Full Featured Scheduler/Calendar with ability to Interact with Contacts or Groups of Contacts and capable of running Multiple Schedules at once. Action Items such as Voice and Email can be dropped onto the scheduler along with any contacts or groups to which allows you to have time and freedom while ContactTalk does your work for you. Date fields of any occasion can be dropped on the scheduler to automatically make a call or email contacts on the defined date such as birthdays, anniversaries, 3 months since last contact, etc … You can create your own To Do Lists which can then be automatically updated based on actions you perform within ContactTalk.

 

Simple Importing of Contacts:

Contacts can be easily imported via the standard CSV (Comma Delimited Value) file. If you set ContactTalk to monitor your Email it can automatically import contacts sent to you by many lead provider companies. You can automatically have these contacts put into a campaign.

 

SQL:

ContactTalk includes SQL and Dynamic Link Editors which enable you to modify a group of contacts all at once (including the entire database if desired), automatically update or calculate numeric fields within the database based on any defined criteria defined by you. You can automate just about everything using SQL and Dynamic Action Items. ContactTalk also includes SQL and Dynamic Wizards that make creating these actions a breeze.

 

Merge Modules:

If you have a need to share information with another ContactTalk user you can easily do so by simply exporting your information to a single file and then send that file to the person you want to share it with. You can share almost all information from campaigns to contacts. You can also export all or part of your contact list to CSV.

 

Can I Email or Call anyone I want?

No. You can only call or Email people who you have permission to call. You must abide by anti spam laws and always offer an opt-out.

 

 

Can ContactTalk automatically opt-out someone if they request it.

Yes. For Email just have the recipients reply to your Email with "remove" anywhere in the subject line. You can add additional key words also. To permit someone to opt-out of a voice call simply create a rule in your main message that will set the DoNoCall field to true. To do this simply enter "SET DoNoCall=-1" in the post sql field of the rule. You will also need to tell the person your calling this option is available.

 

Can ContactTalk call 1000 people a day?

No. Typically ContactTalk can make 300-500 calls a day.

 

 

Can someone call ContactTalk and be given a menu to choose from like press 1 to hear this 2 to hear that?

Yes. In fact they don't have to call ContactTalk, you can offer this to people ContactTalk calls.

 

Can I install ContactTalk on more than 1 computer?

Yes, however you would need to purchase an additional license. ContactTalk is meant to run on 1 computer per user, because it is meant to keep working while you are away. If you are on vacation and need to access your ContactTalk database, we recommend using GoToMyPC.

If you wish to run ContactTalk on for example, both your laptop and desktop, you will need to purchase 2 licenses.

 

Does ContactTalk have a return policy?

Yes ContactTalk has a 7 day money back guarantee. If you fall into one of the below categories, please feel free to request a refund:
1) Our product has design faults and/or bugs which prevent you from using it appropriately
2) You can provide an objective account of why the product did not work for you
If ContactMate has been installed on your PC, we will need to deactivate its license before the refund can be processed.


 

Do I have to have high speed access to the internet in order to run ContactTalk?

Only if you plan to use the calling features.
