Within the Form Editor, the Control Properties Tab allows you to define the state and attributes of each field.  This tab will automatically appear when you open the Form Editor and Add a New Field.

To change properties on existing Fields, open the Form Editor and then select the desired Field from the Contact Details Form.  Then select the desired Property from the list, make your selection, and then press the enter key to save.

NOTE: Be careful not to mistake the OK button for a Save button.  When you click the OK button on the bottom of the Form Editor, it will save your changes and close the Form Editor window.  If you are not happy with your changes, you can always hit the Cancel button which will discard any changes you've made since you opened the Form Editor (unless you saved the form under the Form Properties Tab).
