The Edit Wave Control is used to record a single wave file that is associated with each specific contact. For instance, if you wanted to send personally recorded messages to a group of contacts, instead of relying on a Text to Speech voice to speak the contact's name which can be rather impersonal, you could use this control to record the 1st name of every contact name in your database, then simply insert the wave file in the middle of your recorded message for your Voice Action Item.
The Data Type required for the Edit Wave control is a String (a box will pop up telling you this when you drop the control on the Contact Details Form).
