The Email method tells the Email Action Items how to send the Email.

There are two methods of sending Email. By using Outlook Express or directly using SMTP. The SMTP method is preferred because ContactTalk has more control over the Email process and content i.e. can tell if the Email was sent successfully and will not have problems sending HTML formatted documents with embedded images.

Although you might only need one method sometimes you may want an Email Action Item to send using a special Email address. You can create as many methods as you need.

Email methods can only be created in the Email Action Item setup window.
