Once an Action Item is created, it will need to be assigned an execution "method".  The Action Item will not occur unless you execute it with one of the following four methods: 1) Immediate Execution, 2) Scheduled Execution, 3) Campaign Execution, or Dynamic Execution.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Currently, Voice and Email Action Items have local Pause buttons as well as 1 Global Pause All button in order to avoid accidental voice and email blasts.

You have to uncheck the global Pause All button for the action items to execute.  Unchecking locally will not execute it, only the Pause All will.

The local Pause button comes in handy if you are viewing the Voice and Email Queues and are in the process of blasting, and realize you don't want to send them and can then quickly click the Pause buttons.

In the future, the global Pause All button mayl be removed from ContactTalk.
