Export Action Items Via Merge Module

Step 1: Select the Action Item by clicking on it with the mouse.  To select multiple action items, hold down the Control key (Ctrl) on your keyboard, and select each Action Item for export.

If the Action Item window is not in view, select Templates from the Action Item Menu, or select Action Items>Templates from the Main Menu.

2. When you have selected the Action Items for export, right click on your mouse, and select "Export Selected to Merge Module."  S

Step 3: The Open window will now be visible, where you may type a name in for a new Merge Module, or select an existing Merge Module to export to.  Once this is done, you may select the "Open"  button.  Choosing YES will add to the existing merge module

Step 4: If selecting and existing merge module, a window will appear prompting a choice, "Append (add) to the existing merge module...Click YES.  Delete this merge module...click NO."  If creating a new merge module, go to step 5.

Step 5: The next window you will see is the Create Merge Module window, where you may optionally enter a description of the export.  For this example, a description may be "Action Items."

Step 6: Choose Start, and the data will be sent to a merge module file, that was chosen, in step 3.

Now you may email the merge module, by selecting the "Mail To" button, which will bring up an email with the merge module attached.
