VOIP Method.

If you intend to use the voice features of ContactTalk, this is where you specify the communications method. The method you choose will appear in ContactTalk's main menu under "Connect".

ContactTalk supports two communications methods, Skype and SIP.

Skype: This is a very inexpensive application that installs on your PC and allows you to make phone calls, send text messages and video.  However, it does not handle tone detection very well.  If you plan to have your call recipient interact with your calls, you will want to use SIP instead.

SIP:  This is a very popular VOIP method widely used for telephone communications on the internet.  To use SIP you will need to get setup with a VOIP provider.

Each form may show different contact information or show it in a different way.  You may want to use a particular form for certain contacts. Select the form to use from ContactTalk's tool bar. Check this option to remember the last form you used to view this contact  The next time you select the contact, the last form will be used.

Tip: Right click on any contact or group within the contact list and select "Associate with form ...". This will set the form to use for the contact or all contacts in the group.  If you choose to Associate all of your contacts with certain Forms, it is best to not check the "Remember Contact's last form".

Update Dynamic Fields every: This option controls how often dynamic fields are updated.

Update Campaigns Every: How often to update campaign statuses . Periodically ContactTalk needs to check if any contacts within campaigns need to be executed.  Campaigns with thousands of contacts can become stressful for short periods while ContactTalk determine this, so it is only done periodically.
