There are several optional features available when importing a CSV file.  They include changing the record in view, saving your mapping layouts, setting key fields to avoid duplication, setting manual fields to assign constant values to the contacts being imported, adding imported contacts to campaigns, showing or not showing records as they import, auto creating first and last names if your CSV file does not have them broken down that way, and even  capitalizing the 1st letter of the first, last, and display names.
