ContactTalk has the ability to run multiple schedule columns at the same time. The purpose of this is to help manage Action Items based on Scheduled Events. Action Items can be applied to certain Contact(s) and/or Group(s) based on certain dates such as birthdays, including based on date Fields within the database which you create such as anniversaries, etc... All of this can be done by dragging the Action Items and Contact Records onto the Schedule Resource Columns. You can also Drag & Drop contacts directly to a scheduled event within a Schedule Resource Column without having ContactTalk use a Date Field as the time to execute the Action Item. In this case, the date and time the Event is scheduled for would be the time to execute. If you are going to assign Action Items to Scheduled Events, you always want to Add a New Schedule Resource Column for each group of events because otherwise, ContactTalk will want to execute the Action Items selected on ALL events scheduled in that column. |
