To Schedule an Action Item(s) to be executed for contact(s) and/or groups at a future date and time specified by you, first follow the instructions for Add New Schedule Resource Column.
*Also, make sure you can see your Action Item Templates Window and Schedules Window simultaneously by Docking them properly.
Then follow these simple steps:
Step 1: Select the Contact(s) and/or Groups you wish to assign the Scheduled Action Item(s) to (from the Contact List). NOTE: Currently, ContactTalk allows you to select multiple contacts to Drag & Drop onto a Schedule Resource Column, however, only one Group can be selected at a time to drag, so therefore just drag and drop each group over individually. |

Step 2: Drag & Drop the selected contact(s) and/or group(s) directly onto the Event Window desired date and time. The Contacts to Schedule Event Dialog Box will appear as pictured on the right. Review the details including the start and end times and click OK. (Make sure you leave the reminder box checked). |

Step 3: Select the Action Item Templates you wish to assign to the Schedule Resource and Drag & Drop them directly onto the scheduled event within the Event Window. Icons will appear next to the event confirming which Action Items have been assigned. Now when the designated date occurs, ContactTalk will automatically queue up the assigned Action Item(s) and execute on the assigned contacts. (Make sure you have the Paused button unpressed on the bottom left of the Email Queue and Voice Broadcasts Windows). |

To view or change the Action Items currently assigned to an event, right click on the Event and select Event Action Items. The Action Item Templates with the green check marks are setup to be executed at the time this Event occurs. Click the boxes to check and uncheck as pictured on the right. |
