Exact Search is designed to be a time saver. If the Exact Search box is checked, ContactTalk will search the database for the exact phrase entered into the Search window.  If you have a large database and know the exact phrase you are looking for, you will want to check the Exact Search box.  For example, if you are looking for all contacts with last names starting with the letters "WIL", make sure Exact Search is unchecked.

To turn the Exact Search option on and off, click on the double arrows on the bottom right of the Search Window.
