Use a the Text Edit Control object to put a standard Windows edit control on a form. Text Edit controls are used to retrieve text that users type. Text Edit controls can also display text to the user.

When only displaying text to the user, choose a Text Edit control to allow users to select text and copy it to the Clipboard. Choose a Text Label object if the selection capabilities of a Text Edit control are not needed.  Customize the attributes of this control by using the following properties found under the Form Editor -> Control Properties tab.
