The To Do List allows you to keep a daily list of task you need to perform.  You can group your tasks by Type such as "Call and Close" or "Send a Fast Start Packet" or "Personal".  You can also set the priority to Low, Normal, High, Very High, or even create your own priority.

To Add a task to the To Do List, follow these simple steps:

Step 1: Click the Setup button.  A window will appear like the one on the right and will default to the Priorities Tab.  Here you can create and remove priorities, change colors for priorities, select whether to link the tasks with your contacts (i.e. have the Contact Details Form for each contact in the To Do List automatically pull up when you highlight the task), choose to show the Group By Box header so that you can sort by Type of task, and choose whether or not to show the Menu Buttons.

NOTE: If you choose to not show the Menu Buttons, this will save room and give you more real estate.  To Add a Task, Delete a Task, or run Setup - Right Click.

Step 2: Click "Types" at the top of the window to edit the Types tab.  Here you can create "Types" or groupings for your task.  In this example, we created groups called "Call and Close", "Send Fast Start Packet", and "Personal".

To add a Type, click the plus + sign on the Navigator bar and type into the highlighted box.  When finished, click the check mark on the Navigator bar to save it.  Repeat this process until you have created all of the Types you desire.

You can also elect to show a certain number of days of To Do Tasks in advance.  The default is 2.

Step 3: To add a To Do Task to the To Do List, click the plus+ sign on the navigator bar or click the Add to Do Button (if you have it showing).

If the To Do Task you are adding is associated with a contact or contacts within your database, you can add the To Do simply by dragging and dropping the contact(s) from the Contact List into the To Do Window.  The box on the right will appear.

This will automatically add a description and contact name to your To Do Task and will associate it w/ the contact(s).

Step 4: To assign a Type to your To Do Task, click in the column labeled Type.  A drop down menu will appear listing the Types you created for you to choose from.

Step 5 (Optional): If you wish to group your To Do Tasks by Type, open the Setup and put a check mark next to the "Show group by box" option.

After clicking Close, you will notice that you now have the gray Group by Box at the top of the window.

Simply drag the Column Header labeled Type to the Group By Box.

Step 6 (Optional): To add a certain contact or contacts to an existing Type, make sure the desired Type is the only expanded one (by clicking the plus + sign on the left of it) in the window as shown on the right for the "Send Fast Start Packet" Type.

Highlight the contact or contacts within the Contact List you wish to add to this Type and drop them in the blank area of the To Do List window.

NOTE: Also see Select Multiple Contacts from the Contact List.

*To remove a To Do Task from the To Do List, click the red minus - sign in the Navigator bar.
